At this age, students are well on their way in their academic careers, and have moved beyond the basics of reading, writing, and ‘rithmetic and into social studies and science. The challenges presented in school are now something that most students can take in stride. They have been there, done that.

This doesn’t mean that they still don’t need a little help along the way.
