This book covers the basic operations of the D5100, but brings it to a whole new level. You will learn about the parts of the camera in the beginning, but do not be fooled.
You will learn about the exposure tools, the different lenses that would work well with this camera, memory cards, how to clean the sensor and a whole myraid of other topics. He will share his photographic wisdom and knowledge and will give hints on how become a better photographer. I had the camera right in front of me as I read the book and followed his steps. Its a good learning tool.

I've had my D5100 for about a year. While digital photography books and the Nikon owner manual helped me get by and obtain some great shots, Busch's Guide has really opened the door to many of the great features of my D5100 that were previously burried within sub-sub-menus.
Great step by step instructions, example photographs, and descriptions.
