StoryArchitect has several pop ups for creating, modifying, or deleting StoryVOs and SeriesVOs, displaying alerts, or requesting confirmation before a destructive activity.

Take, for example, creating a new Story. In that use case you click on the “Add Story” (+) button, as shown in Figure 9-1, on the Chooser component, and the StoryPopup (see Figure 9-2) is displayed to collect the basic information to create a new StoryVO. Unless you cancel or close the dialog, when you submit your information the pop up is closed, the new Story is created, stored on disk, and the index is updated with the new Story. You are then taken to the Editor, where you may immediately begin writing.
