    You’ll need a wide, and rather odd, selection of parts to build the Chocolate Milk Maker. Never fear, we’ve listed everything you’ll need. As is the case elsewhere in the book, feel free to substitute if you don’t have a specific part.

    Tools & Electronics

    • Arduino Uno

    • Bricktronics Shield

    • Mounting plate for Arduino

    • Tape or hot glue gun

    • Battery-powered aquarium pump (we used Marina P/N 11134) (Figure 5-2)

    • Zip ties (we used a pack of assorted zip ties, Gardner-Bender P/N 50398)

    • Drill & 1/4″ bit
