Grab a Book

If you’ve ever bought an ebook from Amazon, your path to its pages is short. As long as you used the same Amazon account (Turning the Fire Off) to both buy that title and register the Fire, the book’s waiting for you either on the home screen’s Carousel (The Home Screen), or inside the Books Library. (There, you may need to tap the Cloud tab and then tap the book’s cover again to download, or it may be already sitting in the Device section, ready to read.)

The short version: On the Fire, go to Books?Store, scroll down to the bottom of the screen, and tap one of the free books listed there.
