If you use a wide-angle lens, it makes good sense to pull out the Wide Angle Adapter (figure 6.4). Notice that when you deploy it, the flash automatically zooms to 12, 14, or 17 mm (figure 6.5) if you are using an FX format camera. This means that the Wide Angle Adapter will cover the same angle of view as your wide-angle lens. If you don’t deploy it in these situations, you run the risk of light falloff in the corners of the photograph. However, the SB-700 has such a wide range of coverage that this is rarely a significant issue.
