Group
The left column of letters on the flash’s LCD represents the different group designations. You can’t change the letters themselves, but it is helpful to know what they stand for:
• M = Master Flash settings
• A = Group A settings
• B = Group B settings
• C = Group C settings
Each Group can consist of one flash or multiple flashes. The Master flash (M) is the flash positioned on top of the camera—in this case, the SB-900 or SB-910.
