Although these strategic applications of the SCM are named and described separately in the following sections of this chap- ter, they are all aimed at the overall goal of accelerating change and organizational learning. Mining "Gems" from a Large and Mature Program As noted in the beginning of the book, organizational change initiatives are almost always only partially successful--some parts of them work and some parts of them do not. The Success Case Method can be very
