In some cases, such as in the design of a magazine or a book series, an entire project or job may be de- pendent on the viewer understand- ing that there are many parts of a whole or that content is delivered in chunks according to a prede- termined timeline. Using variations in hues or changing the dominant color in a palette can be an excellent way to differentiate serialized text or to show messages that are related. This technique allows a viewer to quickly distinguish between sections or parts. Individual items are given their own dominant
