Introduction to Med-V > MED-V server installation - Pg. 415

Introduction to MED-V 415 MED-V server installation The longest step in the MED-V install process is the prep work. Get started by building your Windows 2008 sever with IIS enabled. You will then need to log in to the Microsoft Volume License Services Web site (https://www.microsoft.com/licensing/servicecenter/), download the MDOP 2009 ISO file, and create an installation DVD. Now that you have the installation media, let us get started: 1. Put the DVD in your server's drive and let autorun load the installation interface, shown in Figure 15.41, or launch it manually from Windows Explorer. Note If you do not enable IIS on your MED-V server during the initial build process you will not be able to access the MED-V management interface until you do so.
