At RCA, right near here on Sunset Blvd. My early clients were The Monkees, Jose Feliciano, Jefferson Airplane, The Jackson 5, Ike and Tina Turner, Harry Nilsson…
Did Harry come in when you were mastering?
Oh yeah, he was great. I remember talking to him the day after The Beatles were on Johnny Carson. Carson asked them who their favorite artist was and they said it was Harry. His career was going strong, but it really took off after that.
