About the Contributors Wen Zhang is currently a Ph.D candidate with Tsinghua University. His research covers integrated resource scheduling and management of grid data streaming applications which are more and more popular in science and engineering. Now he is also engaged in cloud computing. Recently, he carries out research and implementation of fine-grained resource allocation for grid and cloud computing with help of control theory based on virtualization technology. Chunjiang Zhao is the director of National Engineering and Research Center for Information Technology for Agriculture of China and a professor with it. He was born in 1964 and graduated from Chinese Agricultural University. His research interest is mainly focused on application of information technology in agriculture and the technical architecture of refined agriculture, such as agricultural expert system and integration of 3S technology and intelligent equipment technology. Ziliang Zong received his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Shandong University of China in 2002 and 2005 respectively. He received his PhD degree in computer science from Auburn Univer- sity, United States in 2008. During Oct.2003 - Oct.2004, he studied as research assistant student in the Artificial Intelligence Lab of Toyama University, Japan. Currently, he is an assistant professor in Mathematics and Computer Science Department of South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. His research interests include multicore technologies, parallel programming, high performance computing and distributed storage systems.
