Wealth is in the eye of the beholder

Some fantastic retirement plans that I have heard include:

• I don’t want to have to stress about paying bills, or have sleepless nights over the cost of maintaining the house, or worry about whether I can afford to buy gifts for my children or grandchildren.

• I want to have my mortgage paid off.

• I don’t want to be renting when I’m retired.

• I want to travel overseas once a year, and be able to afford to run a holiday house for our extended family.

• I want to buy a caravan and travel around Australia for a year, and then return home and travel once a year for two months.

• I want to build the most beautiful garden I can possibly create, and then have open garden days for charity.
