Chapter 10. Resolve Problems Using Microsoft DaRT

In this chapter, we will use the Microsoft Desktop and Recovery Toolset (DaRT) to diagnose and fix more complex computer support issues where Windows itself fails to boot or the removal of a component is not possible through remote access.

DaRT itself has been described earlier in the book in terms of the tools and features it provides a user who has signed up for Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) . MDOP has a number of tools and capabilities that can be useful to an organization, however, in terms of resolving computer issues, DaRT is the relevant tool.
