Time for action — implementing Google maps

The Offices page displays the list of our current offices that includes the new San Francisco shipping plant. We can now add the Google maps web part that is used to render the location using the latitude and longitude we entered into the office document. This is done using the following steps:

  1. Log in to CMS Desk, select the Content tab, Company, Offices, Design tab, and in zoneRight, select the add web part icon.

  2. Select the Maps folder, the Google maps web part, as shown in the following screenshot, and then OK.&;&;

  3. In Web part properties (Google maps), enter the following values and select OK.

    Map properties Large view scale 7
      Detailed view scale 10
      Width 600
      Height 400
      Default latitude 39.27
      Default longitude -98.27

      Tooltip field OfficeName


  4. Select the Northwest Transport — San Francisco office document and the Live site button to view the map, as shown in the following screenshot:
