13.5. Summary

The OSGi Service Platform provides several bundle flavors, such as web application bundles (WAB), persistence bundles, and Blueprint bundles. We even created our own, the subscriber application bundle (SAB).

Flavors (features) can be combined into a single bundle by using a declarative nonprogrammatic approach for their assembly. OSGi defines several such approaches, Blueprint being the most popular.
