SQL TUNING-1

One can access the AWR snapshots and launch an ADDM task by clicking on the Server Automatic Workload Repository Snapshots link.

You should see the snapshots created during our application test, marked by the Within A Baseline attribute. Perform these steps for the ADDM analysis:

1. Select as the starting snapshot the one captured immediately before our application test.
2. Choose the Action Run ADDM and click the Go button.
3. Select as an ending snapshot the one captured after our application test and click the OK button.

An ADDM task will be launched and the results will then be displayed.

It is possible that the application test was not sufficient to cause ADDM to detect database-wide performance problems on your workshop database. Therefore, your ADDM report may indicate no findings, which is fine for our purposes at this time.
