Chapter 14 Volumetrics When you are finished with this chapter, you should have a basic under- standing of LightWave's fog, ground fog, HyperVoxels, and volumetric lighting effects. We also discuss how volumetrics and lighting can interact. Within LightWave, all our objects are made up of hollow surfaces. That is to say, all the surfaces are just flat, thin sheets like paper with nothing in between.
