Viewing Artist Information

There are three tabs on each artist page, located at the very top of the page:

• Overview. This tab displays a summary of the artist’s bio, a handful of related artists, the artist’s top hits, and all the albums that the artist has recorded or appeared on.

• Biography. This tab displays a detailed biography of the artist.

• Related Artists. This tab displays other artists similar to this one that you might find interesting.

Let’s start our journey with the Overview tab, which is divided into several sections.

At the top of the Overview tab is some summary information about the artist, as shown in Figure 11.1. You typically see a picture of the artist, a list of which decades the artist was/is active, the first few lines of the artist’s biography, a handful of related artists (click an artist to display that artist’s Spotify page), a link to share that artist with other users, and a link to start that artist’s Spotify radio station.
