Listening to Local Files on Your Mobile Device

You can also use your compatible mobile device to listen to local files stored on your computer—if both your PC and mobile device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

To listen to local files on your mobile device, follow these steps:

1. On your computer, create a playlist that contains the local music you want to listen to on your mobile device.

2. Connect your mobile device to the same Wi-Fi network that your computer is connected to.

3. Launch the Spotify app on your mobile device and mark the newly created playlist as an Offline Playlist.

The playlist you selected is now available for playback on your mobile device.
