Introducing iTunes in the Cloud

Apple recently added a new feature to the iTunes Store, dubbed iTunes in the Cloud. This feature merges traditional store features with cloud-based storage to provide the songs you purchase to any Internet-connected device.

There are several useful features to iTunes in the Cloud. First off, any songs you purchase from the iTunes Store are automatically uploaded to Apple’s iCloud cloud storage servers. In addition, any songs you purchase are automatically downloaded to all the devices you have registered to your Apple account. This means if you purchase a track on your home computer, it’s automatically downloaded to your notebook PC, iPhone, and iPad (if you have such devices, of course). This applies for new purchases as well as older purchase you’ve made in the past.
