Edit frequencies in an audio file

In the preceding lesson, you learned how to use the File Editor’s Waveform view to edit the amplitude of audio files in many interesting ways. For example, you learned how to remove pops and clicks from an audio file by reducing their volume to a point where they no longer create dramatic volume spikes that cause the playback system’s speakers to pop, and you also learned how to decrease the volume of noise in the signal relative to the focus sounds such as dialogue. These are important arrows in the quiver of any audio engineer, and the Waveform view provides valuable visual information to help you in this process.
