Tutorial 31: Using Vienna Ensemble Pro with Logic Pro 9 on the Same Computer

In the last few years, things have changed dramatically for those composers who are trying to do orchestral mockups and/or run many large sample-based libraries and software instruments on the Mac in applications such as Logic Pro, Digital Performer, Cubase, and even Pro Tools. With today’s powerful Intel Macs, CPU power is not really as much of an issue. Accessing RAM has been the new major bottleneck, as today’s sample libraries and software instruments are frequently very RAM hungry.
