This chapter explores what many consider the most useful tools in Cubase: the tool buttons, which are located on the toolbar and grouped together. Cubase 4’s Key editor contains 10 of these buttons (see Figure 2.1), each offering easy access to tools that play an important role in the editing process. (You’ll learn about Cubase’s other tool buttons in Chapter 3, “The Toolbar,” after you master the 10 tools covered here.)
