Self-transparency includes areas such as being yourself, acknowledging your weaknesses, acknowledging your strengths and interests, and beating the crowd to your boss. The key concept here is to not hide who you are, but rather to be open about who you are. At first, this approach may seem challenging when you want to put your best foot forward. Nevertheless, you will establish trust with people in a more concrete manner by establishing transparency about yourself to others, including your boss.
