Chapter 34. AutoCAD 2000 Migration Assis... > Understanding the Menu and Toolbar P...

Understanding the Menu and Toolbar Porter

The Menu and Toolbar Porter enables you to import your existing custom menus and toolbars from Release 12, Release 13, and Release 14 versions to Release 2000. Using this Porter, you can add, replace, remove, or rearrange menu items and toolbars in a menu file. By using the Menu and Toolbar Porter, you can quickly and easily modify a menu file and transfer selected menu items and toolbars between two different AutoCAD menu files.

The Menu and Toolbar Porter consists of a window with two tabs. One tab is for working with menus, and the other tab is for working with toolbars. By selecting the desired tab, you can modify either menu commands or toolbars and transfer data between two different AutoCAD menu files.
