I found the first hand experience and advice to be very useful.  I recommend this book to anyone interested in being a part of the industry or even someone just wanting to know more about the software industry in general.

This book is actually quite simplistic and unrealistic, especially the chapter about "People Problems." If you're someone looking for real-world career advice, this isn't the book.  If I could give this book no stars, I would.
