Sitting in Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, all were frustrated. My flight was delayed for at least two hours and the terminal bustled with disgruntled fellow passengers. One young man looked especially downtrodden—suit disheveled, shirt coffee-stained, tie twisted—as he flopped to the soiled carpet with his bags.
The man—let’s call him “Steve”—opened his backpack and pulled out an equally battered laptop. As he flipped it open, something caught my eye. It was a sticker placed over the manufacturer’s logo which stated, “follow me on Twitter,” and included his “@” username. Curiosity piqued, I grabbed my iPhone, logged into Twitter, and decided to see what Steve had to say.
It will sound grandiose, but Steve’s life was about to change.
