While the material in the book is laid out well and eay to read, I found several questions/answers in the self test to be very poorly worded or just flat out incorrect.
Stating that locking your computer will SAVE your work and programs and protect it from unauthorized use? No way. Admin can unlock it and you will lose your work. Stating that TRACERT can't be used for DNS troubleshooting? That you can't tell a POP e-mail server to keep your mail on the server? (I do it with 3 PC's right NOW). That a STATUS light on *any* Wireless NIC can show signal STRENGTH, not just that it is either connected or not? Installing a signal booster on a WAP can fix TWO-WAY wireless connection issues between a WAP and a laptop? (yeah, remote boosting of the laptop's NIC, too?) Many more poorly worded or just flat out wrong answers abound in this book. A bit disappointing, but even with these taken into account, it is still a good resource. Just watch the self test questions... If they don't make sense, they probably are wrong.
