Everyone needs a place to store data. Whether it’s business documents, audio/video files, or data backups, users must decide on the right storage medium. This can be magnetic media such as a hard drive, optical media such as a DVD, or solid-state media such as a USB flash drive. It all depends on what is stored, and how often and where it is needed. This chapter concentrates on those three categories of media and how to identify, install, and troubleshoot them.
