    Control Plane Policing

    Control plane policing allows classification and the policing of packets that is destined to the control plane of a Cisco router and switch. Control plane policing protects against DDoS attacks and provides better platform reliability and availability. Control plane policing uses the modular QoS CLI (MQC) to configure packet classification and policing.
