Modular QoS CLI

Modular QoS CLI (MQC) is used for the configuration of QoS on Cisco routers. It allows for standardization of the CLI and semantics for configuring QoS features Prior to MQC implementation, all configurations were performed at the interface level for QoS policies. When a router had a large number of interfaces, this configuration was often cumbersome, time consuming, and unmanageable. MQC allows decoupling of the QoS policy from the interface on which it is applied.
