Chapter 6. Cisco Unified Presence Server > Adding Nodes to CUPS Cluster

Adding Nodes to CUPS Cluster

CUPS clusters are multiple CUP servers that work together to provide redundancy or high availability. As discussed earlier, you can have up to six servers in the cluster. When you decide that you need more servers added to your cluster, go to the System, Topology (in Version 7) or Cluster Topology (in Version 8) page to add them.

  1. Click Add New Node.

  2. Enter the node information:

    Hostname

    Description

  3. Click Save.
