AnyConnect
The AnyConnect client was introduced in the 8.0 version of the ASA operating system to replace the SSL VPN client (SVC). AnyConnect provides transparent network access, similar to what is provided by the Cisco IPsec VPN client. Unlike the IPsec client, however, it can be installed dynamically after a user establishes an SSL VPN connection to the ASA.
Note
Installation of the AnyConnect client requires administrative privileges on the local machine.
