In this chapter, we covered the different types of mail servers that Red Hat has to offer. We also looked at how critical email is in the real world. The basic configuration of email service for the Red Hat exam isn’t too difficult, but when it comes to having secure mail servers in the real world, this is a larger undertaking. There are full books dedicated to the subject of configuring and securing email servers, so make sure to do your due diligence before deploying an email server in the real world. You should also have a good understanding of how the different parts of email services work together to provide the flow of email.
