This certification guide did a good job of covering the objectives of the exam. I used it as my primary study source for the Linux+ (Powered by LPI) exam. There were one or two details that weren't covered in this text that showed up on the exam I took so I couldn't give it a top rating. I would recommend this as a primary text and skimming through LPIC-1 In Depth to pick up the few bits that aren't mentioned in this text.

This study guide along with the comptia guide will help you pass the exam. It is always good to get other study guides so you have a comprehensive viewpoint and better understanding of the material.
