Before You Begin

To complete the lessons in this chapter, you should be familiar with developing Web-based applications with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 using Microsoft Visual Basic or C#. In addition, you should be comfortable with all of the following tasks:

• Creating an ASP.NET Web page and working with the ASP.NET controls

• Using object-oriented development concepts

• Reading and working with class diagrams

• Developing a business object (class) that contains domain-specific properties and methods

• Working with attributes in your development

• Working with the unit testing framework in Visual Studio 2005 Team Edition to write and execute tests
