Brian Komar, MCSE+I, MCT, is an Independent Consultant currently doing lots of work with Microsoft Corporation. Tasks include acting as the Technical Lead for the Windows 2000 security course, reviewing published materials, delivering Windows 2000 MOC courses, and consulting and speaking at several conferences on Windows 2000 Active Directory and Security design topics.

In his spare time, Brian enjoys travelling with his wife, Krista.

David Neilan has been working in the computer/network industry for more than eight years, the last five dealing primarily with network/Internet connectivity and security. From 1991 to 1995, he worked for Intergraph, dealing with graphics systems and networking. From 1995 to 1998, he worked for Digital Equipment, working with DEC firewalls and network security. From 1998 to present, he has worked for Online Business Systems, dealing with LAN/WAN and Internet security. He is also designing network infrastructures to support secure LAN/WAN connectivity for various companies utilizing Microsoft 2000 products, Cisco products, and the Internet to create secure virtual private networks.

Robert L. Bogue is the Chief Operating Officer of AvailTek, Inc. AvailTek is a software development and systems integration company headquartered in Carmel, IN. Robert has contributed to over 100 book projects and numerous magazine articles and reviews. Robert is MCSE, CNA, A+, Network+, and I-Net+ certified. Edward Tetz graduated from Saint Lawrence College in Cornwall, Ontario with a diploma in Business Administration in 1990. He spent a short time in computer sales, which turned into a computer support position. He has spent the last eight years providing system and LAN suport for small and large organizations. In 1994 he added training to his repertoire. He is both a Microsoft Certified Trainer and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. He has experience with Apple Macintosh, IBM OS/2, and all Microsoft operating systems. He is currently an Information Technology Coordinator and an instructor for PBSC Computer Training, delivering certified training in most Microsoft products. He would like to thank his wife, Sharon, and their children, Emily and Mackenzie. If not for their love, support, and understanding, he would not be able to find the time or will to write and edit.
