2. A. An update roll-up is a packaged set of updates that fix problems with specific Windows components or software packages such as Microsoft Office. A critical security update is a single update that Microsoft issues to fix a problem that is critical for a computer’s security. An optional update is a potentially useful non-security-related update. A service pack is a comprehensive operating system update that often adds new features or improvements to existing features.

3. D. When using HTTPS for secured communication, the WSUS server must have an SSL certificate installed. If an SQL server is not available, the installation wizard will install the Windows Internal Database on your server; this is true whether or not HTTPS is being used. IIS is required whether or not HTTPS is being used. NAP checks client computers for system health; the presence or absence of a NAP server on the network is immaterial to this scenario.
