1. B. By selecting the Block all incoming connections, including those in the list of allowed programs option, you stop all attempts by outsiders to reach your server. This enables you to perform whatever detective and remedial measures you need to perform before putting the server back online. You need to do this within the Home or Work (Private) Network Location settings because your computer is connected to the work network. Public network location settings are used with mobile computers connecting from an insecure location, such as a public Wi-Fi hotspot; although present on the server interface, this option should never be used on a server. You would use the Turn off Windows Firewall option only when troubleshooting a connectivity problem and not when troubleshooting improper access to your computer.
