Lesson 2. Creating a Data Mining Structure and Data Mining Models

After you have examined and prepared your data, as you did in Lesson 1, you need to create your mining models. You create your models using the Analysis Services Project template in BIDS. For data mining models, you define the data source and data source view (DSV) objects in the same way you create them for Unified Dimensional Model (UDM) dimensions and cubes. Then, you create a DM structure.
