    Chapter 10. Developing SSRS Reports

    SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) plays an important role in the SQL Server 2005 business intelligence (BI) platform. Reports built in Reporting Services query the relational and multidimensional databases and distribute information throughout the organization. In this chapter, you will first learn to create SSRS projects and reports in Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS). Then you will see how to develop report objects with the Report Designer and how to work with advanced report object properties. Finally, after looking at the way to create a dataset from a data source, you will see how to apply dataset filters and groups.
