    Before You Begin

    To complete the lessons in this chapter, you must have:

    • A domain controller named Server1.contoso.local with at least 3 GB of free space on any partition or volume.

    • A computer or virtual machine with no operating system installed and at least 1024 MB of RAM. (This bare-metal computer will be used for Server2.)

    • Downloaded the Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) for Windows 7 from the Microsoft Download Center (http://www.microsoft.com/download) and installed the Windows AIK on Server1.
