    Debug Logging

    The DNS server also supports debug logging of packets sent to and from the DNS server to a text file named dns.log. This file is stored in the %systemroot%\system32\dns folder. To configure logging, right-click the server in the DNS Manager snap-in and choose Properties. Click the Debug Logging tab to see the dialog box shown in Figure 2.15.
