Creating Sites
You can create additional sites by using the Active Directory Sites and Services snap-in, as described by the following procedure:
1. | Click Start, Administrative Tools, Active Directory Sites and Services. |
2. | Right-click Sites, and choose New Site. |
3. | In the New Object–Site dialog box shown in Figure 3.2, type the name of the site. Select a site link object from the list provided, and then click OK. Figure 3.2. Creating a new site.

4. | Windows informs you that the site has been created and reminds you of several other tasks that you should perform, including linking the site to other sites with appropriate site links, adding subnets, and installing or moving domain controllers to the site. Click OK. |
