    Enabling RADIUS in the Routing and Remote Access Console

    If you have not loaded Network Policy Server, you can configure your Windows Server 2008 to use a RADIUS server for authentication by following these steps:

    1.
    Open the Routing and Remote Access console.

    2.
    Right-click the server and select Properties.

    3.
    In the Security tab, select RADIUS Authentication for the Authentication Provider.

    4.
    Click Configure.

    5.
    To specify one or more RADIUS servers, use the Add button.

    6.
    Click OK to exit the Radius Authentication dialog box.

    7.
    Click OK to exit the server properties.
