For example, database administrators require the support of sophisticated tools to assist them in the complex task of database administration. Senior developers who may create and alter complex database objects may also require the support of these tools. A brief summary of these tools are: · · Oracle SQL*Plus which supports the use of administration commands. A web-based version known as iSQL*Plus is also available. Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) graphical interface and related applications. As the name implies, this tool allows for administration of all facilities within the enterprise. While this includes databases, it is not limited to these.
