Elton Jernigan is the Director of Technology for the College of Business at The Florida State University in Tallahassee. Elton has been in the IT field for more than 27 years. Elton and his staff support the network in the College of Business, which consists of more than 500 desktop computers and 12 network servers. They also support the audio/visual presentation systems in the 20 classrooms of the College of Business. He has spent considerable time designing training facilities over the past 10 years.
Elton is a Microsoft Certified Trainer and is a senior trainer with the Beacon Institute for Learning where he teaches Microsoft Windows NT and Microsoft Windows 2000 certification courses. Elton has taught at the Beacon Institute for Learning partner sites at The Florida State University, Villanova University, the University of Richmond, and Florida Gulf Coast University. Elton also has taught telecommunications courses as an adjunct instructor for the Information and Management Sciences Department of the College of Business.
Elton served as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the initial focus group for CompTIA's Server+ exam in June 2000, and as such, helped to define the concepts and skills to be covered on the Server+ exam.
Elton believes that everyone should have a hobby and his is apparently taking certification exams. Elton holds the following certifications:

Dave Bixler, MCP, MCSE, is the Technical Services Manager and Information Security Officer for a Fortune 500 systems integrator.
