Chapter 1. Introducing vSphere 4

This chapter digs in and starts talking about virtualization in general and progresses to a discussion of vSphere 4 specifically. The word virtualization gets thrown around a lot these days, and in most cases it’s used to imply server virtualization. But because virtualization is so much more than just server virtualization, this chapter discusses the different types of virtualization technologies that are at your disposal today.
