Acknowledgments

For more than a decade, we have been working with colleagues at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and at universities, developing materials on Green and Sustainable Engineering. The collaborations have included textbook development, short course offerings, creation of educational modules, and benchmarking activities. This textbook is the latest product of that collaboration, so while it bears our names as authors, it would not have been possible without the support of our colleagues at the EPA and other collaborators who have worked with us on these initiatives.
